C H METAL

C h metal-catalyzed hydroaminoalkylation is a 100% atom economic approach for building Csp3–Csp3 bonds by activating C–H bonds adjacent to an amine and subsequently reacting with an alkene. This method, catalyzed by early transition metals, allows for the synthesis of complex amines without the need for protecting groups or directing groups, and eliminates the requirement of added oxidants or photoredox catalysts. The development of early transition metal catalysts has enabled the efficient assembly of selectively substituted amines.
