Scarboro Sign Studios is a community arts initiative that celebrates Indigenous artists through the creation of stunning murals on the iconic Scarborough Sign, located at the Pan Am Centre on the UTSC Campus. The artists are supported through programs like the Indigenous Youth Mural Making Program, providing mentorship, resources, and a platform for their creative expression. The initiative is made possible by partnerships with organizations like 7th Generation Image Makers and Feed Scarborough, fostering artistic talent and cultural connections in the Scarborough community.
