Tembec Industries Inc., commonly known as Tembec, was a Canadian paper company founded by Frank Dottori in Témiscaming, Quebec in 1973. With operating divisions including Forest Products, Pulp, Paper & Paperboard, and Chemicals, Tembec played a significant role in the economy with approximately 3000 employees and locations in Canada, United States, and France. In May 2017, Tembec agreed to a takeover offer by Rayonier Advanced Materials, ultimately closing the deal in November of the same year.
